BRICKK TIP - Greek yogurt

I switched to greek yogurt several years ago when I realized how much protein there was in it compared to regular yogurt... I started buying the individual cups with flavors and found that in addition to having more protein they were thicker and creamier. For some people this takes time to get used to (the change in texture) I liked it better and my family  enjoyed it (didn't complain about it- my kids love it and will eat it plain too).

I like to experiment when cooking, so I eventually bought a big container of non fat plain Greek yogurt because I had read somewhere that it could be a substitute for sour cream. So, I started using it in different recipes that called for sour cream. It seemed to work well and nobody noticed the difference. I used it in place of sour cream in Christmas sugar cookies...it worked out GREAT! I even started using it on tacos instead of sour cream. Now a staple in our fridge is non fat Greek yogurt and I rarely buy sour cream.
